Who We Are

Our Food System is Broken

This was made so apparent by the challenges we have faced during the pandemic. Regrettably, the issues with a Centralized Food Supply Chain, run by the Industrial Food Complex, were always there. They were just exposed by the pandemic. If we do not make systemic changes to our Food System and Food Supply Chain, then we will continue to see more disruption, more food insecurity, increasing poverty, and more farms failing.

None of us win unless all of us win.

Our

Mission

Our mission is to support local farmers and food makers through a dedicated Food Hub, primarily focusing on Value Added Processing. This hub serves as a core for various community benefits:

The vision of our founding team

Shaping Tomorrow's Food System

Our founders bring a wealth of shared experience and expertise in food systems to Heal the Earth. Their previous roles in organizations like Kitchens for Good and active participation in the Food System Alliance have collectively built a strong foundation for our organization.

Their journeys through various facets of the food industry, from culinary arts to sustainable agriculture, have given them a deep understanding of the intricate web that sustains us all. This diverse experience, combined with a deep passion for positive change, inspired the creation of Heal the Earth.

Under their guidance, Heal the Earth was born with a strong vision - one that goes beyond personal achievements and centers on a shared commitment to creating a more equitable, sustainable, and nourishing future for all.
