Our

Programs

We're excited to be building a suite of innovative programs designed to enrich our community and foster sustainable food practices. Hover over the programs below to discover more about our vision and what we're striving to achieve.

In partnership with the city of Escondido and educational institutions, we're establishing a dynamic Food Hub. This hub serves as a vital engine to drive the local economy, offering local farmers new avenues to sell their products. It's all about giving control back to our local heroes who work the land.

Our Farm Store at Wild Acres Farm will be more than a place to buy groceries - it'll be a vibrant celebration of local harvests and the hardworking farmers who make them possible. Here, you will discover a world of fresh, sustainably grown produce, all while supporting the local economy.

But it's not just about shopping - it's about connecting with the food we eat and the people who grow it. At our Farm Store, every purchase helps to cultivate a stronger, healthier community.

Our Value Added Processing Facility is where good food becomes a source of additional revenue while offering consumers more ways to enjoy local products. Here, we'll take fresh, locally-sourced produce and transform it into delectable, value-added products like jams, pickles, and sauces.

This approach extends the shelf life of our harvests, minimizes waste, and supports farm operations with new income streams. Even more, it's a testament to the creativity and innovation that thrives in our food community.
